Athena is a growing research ecosystem boasting over 700 persons as scientific and admin staff working in promoting open science and applied research. As the organisation opens up to more and more facilities, cities and scientific territories, a need for brand alignment had arisen.
We refreshed the brand identity of Athena Research Center, creating a flexible sub-branding system for tens of institutes and units. A multi-line logo structure, open-source typefaces and tech-inspired graphic elements (the trapezoid + the grid) keep the identity bold, adaptable and easy to apply across all materials and occasions.
