The first Orama showroom in the USA serves for display and client meetings, a place where visitors can sit back, have a coffee and discuss ideas surrounded by the products. Housed in a concrete warehouse with a timber roof, the space is organized around four key display units. Each of these free-standing units integrate hidden storage and backlit panels. They were prefabricated in Greece, and shipped to Los Angeles for assembly. In between the display units, a continuous curtain system allows the space to transform for different scenarios, shifting between openness and intimacy. From the street, passersby can glimpse the inviting interior, while two of the façade windows become large-scale screens projecting branded content to the city.
