“Thirty Frames A Second” is an anniversary edition for the 10 years of Orama Minimal Frames, running through the most important minimal frames implementations since the company launch in 2013. The publication was distributed to the company’s international partners as part of an xmas loyalty gift which also included a custom aluminium clock fabricated by Orama especially for the occasion. The concept of time is the main idea behind the gift, symbolizing the company’s progress and its commitment to the future.
Complementing images from Orama’s archive of works, selections from the work of three photographers were included in the publication, creating a dialogue between architecture and nature, textures and reflections, the unexpected and the familiar. Each cover features an aluminum foil frame that reflects light, honouring the aesthetic qualities of the raw material. Every cover is unique as its constituent elements were individually handcrafted.
