Roleplay was conceived in late 2012 and founded on the New Year’s Day of 2013. So, apart from being another list in the ocean of end-of-the-year lists, this annual rewind is also a periodical tribute to our friends, partners, collaborators, employees and clients that every year help make this office broader. Thank you!
Enjoy our Top-10 projects for 2015 in chronological order.
Our second implementation of the Orama exhibition booth concept was successfully accomplished by Stefanos Nasopoulos. Thanks to Diego from Atelier Italia for respecting Orama’s identity.
Designing an interface to promote a summer resort in the middle of last winter was pure bliss! Big thanks to the Idilli team (Elisa, Konstantinos and Stavros, of course). Excessively developed by Chris Nasikas.
Dioskouri, old-town’s historic coffee place/restaurant, is under an extensive rebranding coordinated by the younger generation of owners. We worked closely with Design Pot (architecture & interiors) for an identity redesign including signage, menus and other restaurant consumables. To be continued!
Thank you, Sirtimid for taking over at the right moment. Thank you Nikos Alexopoulos for the right-on-the-spot photo shooting! Thank you Efi, Tina and Sofia for handing us your baby…
Big thanks to our intern from France, Manon Photopoulos, for diving into the greek alphabet for the localisation of our corporate – yet open – font.
We were so glad to meet Vassilis and Manolis from theatre collective Nova Melancholia for a brave update of their web presence. Chris Nasikas did it again!
Huge credit to Stefanos Nasopoulos for leading this demanding product design journey for us and big thanks to George from Orama Minimal Frames for embarking with the same vision. More documentation on this polyester custom hard case coming soon!
This has been our biggest teamwork project so far! Visual id, web strategy, design and coordination was carried out in-house. Chris Nasikas & Panos Karvelas built a smooth e-commerce experience within a website rich with content and media. Panos Economou nailed it with the product-related series of video clips. Dimitris Kolios captured the essence of d.Mod’s creations. Nastazia Spyropoulou documented the designs in plan and 3D for the first time. Last but not least, d.Mod’s Michalis and Guy pushed everyone enough to get the best they could. We think they got it!
We are happy to collaborate with Athena Research Center / IMIS to give form to important projects such as the all-new Geodata.gov.gr, a centre for public datasets. Thanks to Spiros and Stelios for trusting our eyes.
Open Lab has been roleplay’s most ambitious, open-ended and… open project so far. Thanks to the big team involved so far for their contribution. We’ll feed you with project images and credit information within the first weeks of 2016.
