Xmas 2024: A bucolic day in life.

So, here we are, days later deciding who is going to travel in who’s car, setting arrival time and meeting points. The cars were two and the plan was to arrive around 12.00 at the Orias mountain guesthouse and farm. Still, one team was tricked by google maps, went off road and explored extra cute and small traditional villages on mountaintops, while team no.1 already making friends with Archodoula, the farm’s little lama like donkey.

The official activities planned for the day started, with a refreshing hiking around the farm, next to herbs, brooks and a small historical church in the middle of the woods, while our guide giving us details about the local history.

When we return to Orias, various “from farm to table” organic delicacies were waiting for us, hot from the wooden oven – cooked with old culinary techniques and methods. As the afternoon’s mountain breeze was around the porch, we ended the day with a (top) Secret Santa, exchanging books and other little gifts themed after internal jokes.

And that’s how we restart and end the year, in order to welcome 2025 with recharged minds and souls, full with original and innovative new ideas!
