The new Edeko identity originates from light itself. From the sun and the moon to any luminous body, light becomes both subject and material. Emerging from darkness, it defines space, reveals form and shape atmosphere. Glare, diffusion, grain, iridescence, burn and the constant interplay between light and shadow inform the visual language of the system. These qualities are translated into a set of elements that move between the literal and the abstract. Rather than representing light, the identity seeks to behave like it. Simple, precise and immediate. A visual language shaped by the very phenomena from which it draws inspiration.

The rebranding shifts the focus from its founder to the practice itself establishing a more enduring presence while acknowledging the legacy of Greece’s most influential lighting practicioner. Typography reinforces this balance. Kalice lends the identity a timeless, architectural character, while Monument Grotesk provides clarity and flexibility across editorial, print, and digital applications. The visual system extends across both physical and digital touchpoints. Printed matter relies on generous white space, while the website adopts a permanent dark interface where content is revealed selectively, treating light as an organizing principle rather than a visual effect. Designed as a living archive, it structures decades of work through a navigation system that functions as both interface and index.
